The sixth world: The Solitary Sorcerer and his Evil Little Doll (7)

Recap

Ji Huaizhe had seen through her tricks and changed several glasses of water in succession, and stared at the plate while eating, but Lilith would still secretly try to drug him.

He endured this for more than a month.

Ji Huaizhe exposed her and broke up this friendly relationship with his roommate.

Looking at Lilith walking away, Chu Shici called out to Zhe-ge worriedly.

Ji Huaizhe said nothing. He gently stroked the little doll’s head with his fingertips, his cold eyes gradually softening.

He no longer has to work hard to maintain false friendships, he has a little doll of his own.

___

After he exposed Lilith, no one would play with Ji Huaizhe at all.

When it was dinner time, everyone went out in groups together, while he went to the canteen to get food alone.

Several sorcerer apprentices gathered together and watched him from a distance and whispered.

Sensing their gazes, Ji Huaizhe turned his head and glanced at them, and those people immediately became excited.

One of the men, wearing a crimson sorcerer robe, walked up to Ji Huaizhe and gave him a gentle smile.

“Ji, today is my birthday. I hope you can come to my birthday party.”

Ji Huaizhe ignored him and prepared to leave with the plate in hand.

The man stepped in front of him, took out a bouquet of roses from his arms, and said with a sincere expression: “Ji, are you still angry? I swear this is just an ordinary birthday party, nothing unpleasant will happen.”

Ji Huaizhe had just finished arguing with Lilith in the afternoon, and he was still irritated.

He was holding a plate in one hand and a doll in the other. Both hands were very busy. So when the man wanted to force the roses into his arms, he raised his leg and gave the man a kick.

Like magicians, most sorcerers are also long-ranged.

But Ji Huaizhe is different. He is a battle mage*.

*(close combat mage)

The man was kicked away by him and landed on a nearby dining table. He didn’t get up for a long time.

Ji Huaizhe kicked away the roses at his feet, walked over and stepped heavily on the man’s chest.

He couldn’t see Ji Huaizhe’s face through the goat skull mask, but he could tell that Zhe-ge was furious.

The man was beaten by Ji Huaizhe until he vomited blood, and his companions came to stop him.

The blond man leading the group reprimanded coldly, “Ji Huaizhe! We are all classmates, why are you so cruel!”

Ji Huaizhe seemed to have suppressed his impatience for too long, and now his emotions completely exploded, sparing no mercy to anyone.

He upturned the dinner plate on the man’s head, grabbed his hair and pushed him heavily into the dining table.

His cold and angry voice came from behind the skull mask.

“The first time he confessed his love to me in public, everyone teased me and forced me to kiss him. The second time we had a gathering, he forced me to get drunk, cheated in the games and wanted me to strip naked. How many times have I endured this in order to get along well with everyone? ”

Ji Huaizhe stuffed the little doll into his pocket, rolled up his sleeves, pressed several men to the ground and rubbed his shoes down.

“Before you tried to drug me, why didn’t you stop to think that I am also your classmate?!”

Ji Huaizhe didn’t hold back at all. He dug his heels into the man’s legs several times, picked up the chair and smashed it into him.

Chu Shici originally wanted to stop him. After all, they were all from the same school and it was not good to offend him. However, after Ji Huaizhe voiced his anger, he stopped. He scanned the surroundings and found a fork on the dining table, he picked it up and jumped onto the ground and stabbed several people’s feet.

Seeing that the apprentices were about to be beaten to death, someone ran to find the teacher.

Ji Huaizhe didn’t listen to anyone. He went mad and started fighting with the other students. The teacher couldn’t stop him at all.

In front of the teachers, he dragged the sorcerer who gave him the roses all the way to the cooking area, and pushed his head into the freshly cooked eyeball soup.

Listening to the sorcerer’s screams, Ji Huaizhe seemed to feel that this was not enough.

He held the man’s head with one hand, pointed the iron bucket with the other, and recited a spell quickly.

The next second, fire burst out of his hands, burning the iron bucket red.

When Chu Shici saw this, he threw away his fork and went over to stir up trouble.

When Ji Huaizhe was about to make steamed human brains, an old female voice came from the door of the cafeteria.

“Huaizhe, let him go.”

Chu Shici turned around and saw an old witch with gray hair slowly walking into the cafeteria tent on crutches.

She walked up to Ji Huaizhe and raised her withered arm, as if she wanted to touch his head.

Ji Huaizhe, who looked murderous, seemed to have changed in an instant.

He bent his knees and lowered his body into a half-squat, and took off his goat skull mask on his own initiative, allowing the old woman to easily touch the top of his head.

Stroking his soft long hair, the old witch said kindly: “Huaizhe, has he provoked you again?”

Ji Huaizhe casually picked up the little doll that was running around, lowered his eyes and shook his head.

Chu Shici looked around and tried to raise his arm to complain, “They wanted to invite him to the banquet yet they added drugs to the roses they gave him. I can smell it.”

Only then did the old witch see that there was a doll here. She stretched out her hand and tapped the doll’s little head, “Where did this little guy come from? Are you his evil spirit servant?”

“The contract hasn’t been signed yet, but it will be soon.”

The old witch said nothing more. She stretched out her hand, and Ji Huaizhe took the initiative to put the doll in her palm.

Chu Shici could tell that Zhe-ge trusted this old woman and hence he behaved very well.

The old witch checked him out for a while before returning him to Ji Huaizhe, “Young, healthy and energetic. It is a good soul, but he does not look like an evil spirit.”

Realizing that she was dissatisfied with him, Chu Shici immediately showed a fierce expression, “When I was alive, my hands were covered with blood.”

The old witch laughed, “Have you ever killed anyone?”

“Probably killed more than a hundred.”

The old witch squinted and scrutinized him for a long time, then nodded with satisfaction: “That is indeed an evil deed. I made a mistake.”

She did not dwell on this issue any longer and ordered the several sorcerers to be imprisoned for a month, and led Ji Huaizhe out of the cafeteria.

Back in the teacher’s office, the old witch poured Ji Huaizhe a cup of hot cocoa and took out donuts to entertain him.

Chu Shici, who was sitting on the mask, also got a piece, but he had no mouth and could only stare while holding the donut.

The old witch’s shaky hands took the needle and thread and sewed a small mouth for him. Seeing that he was naked, she made him a little sorcerer robe with dark red cloth.

Chu Shici sat in the palm of her hand, raised his feet and requested for her to sew small leather boots for him. His fondness for this old woman began to grow in his heart.

A soothing aroma filled the room. Making the already cozy cabin even more homey.

The old woman teased the little doll casually, “Huaizhe, I heard that you and Lilith had a quarrel?”

“I don’t want to be her friend anymore.”

“Because she wanted to give you love potions?”

Ji Huaizhe nodded.

“I won’t say much about Lilith, but the love potions are not necessarily a bad thing. I remember when I was young, I used to rely on it to rejuvenate and keep myself refreshed.”

Ji Huaizhe was calm and silent, and others could not tell what he was thinking.

The old woman took out a bottle of pink potion from the drawer and handed it to him. “When you meet someone you like in the future but are too shy to pursue them, you can try taking a sip. It will make you brave.”

Ji Huaizhe did not refuse and put the potion into his pocket.

After chatting with the witch for a long time, Ji Huaizhe gradually relaxed.

Holding the cup of hot cocoa in his hand, he took the initiative to tell the teacher about the dark shadow that appeared after he fell asleep and the dark hole with the teleportation array in the cabinet.

The old witch pondered slightly, “You said you couldn’t hear sounds when you were sleeping, so how did you find a dark shadow in the house?”

Just as Ji Huaizhe was about to speak, Chu Shici answered first: “Vicente said it!”

“Vicente?”

“It is that priest who used virgin nun’s blood to make medicine and was burned to death. We are both evil spirits summoned by Zhe-ge but he lost. Zhe-ge has decided to make me his evil spirit servant.”

A trace of confusion flashed in Ji Huaizhe’s eyes, but he didn’t say anything.

The old witch thought for a long time and proposed to change Ji Huaizhe’s dormitory.

A teleportation array had appeared in her student’s dorm, which was of great concern. She and other teachers wanted to go to the dormitory to investigate in person. So she wanted to let Ji Huaizhe head back, pack his things and move into a new dormitory first.

At the same time, she gave him a blank teleportation scroll and asked him to pay attention to his safety.

Before leaving the room, Ji Huaizhe turned his head hesitantly: “Teacher, Vicente saw a dark shadow entering my body.”

The old witch smiled reassuringly, “I’ll ask Teacher Smith to do a full-body examination on you later. It may be a curse or possession by evil spirits. I’m not good at these things.”

Lying on Ji Huaizhe’s shoulder, Chu Shici secretly observed the witch’s expression.

The old woman looked worried but she seemed to know something.

After chatting with the teacher, Ji Huaizhe’s mood improved significantly.

On the way back to the dormitory, he picked up the doll and stroked it back and forth. Chu Shici was tickled by him and laughed while holding his stomach in his arms.

When passing by a tent, Lilith happened to walk out of it.

When the two met head-on, the little witch turned cold and muttered, “Freak” in a voice just within earshot of Ji Huaizhe.

Chu Shici’s temper immediately flared up, and he shouted at her: “You drugged him yet you still have the nerve to curse him. Can you please have some shame! If you say anymore, I will really climb onto your bed in the middle of the night and stuff sheep dung into your mouth!”

Lilith’s face turned red, “You…”

“Y-y-y-you?? Fuck you, this idiot. Lucky for you, my Zhe-ge has a soft temper. If it had been me, I would’ve torn your mouth to pieces already.”

The voodoo doll put his arms on his waist and continued to curse for three minutes. As the master, Ji Huaizhe did not stop it and just watched the show with a cold face.

People in this world can be considered elegant when it comes to cursing someone else, and Lilith has never seen such crude words used in cursing. She was so angry as she couldn’t think of a comeback and ran away wiping tears.

Looking at Lilith’s retreating back, Chu Shici saw a message pop up in the background.

At the same time, Ji Huaizhe seemed to say something. His voice was very soft and could not be heard clearly through the mask.

But Chu Shici guessed that Zhe-ge was saying thank you to him.

This was probably the first time someone defended him in this way, and Ji Huaizhe’s attitude towards him became much better.

When he looked at him, her eyes were a little warmer.

Taking advantage of Ji Huaizhe’s good mood, Chu Shici took the initiative to chat with him, trying to figure out what had happened to him before.

Ji Huaizhe disliked this topic and gave very curt answers.

Based on his reaction, however, Chu Shici can vaguely make a guess what happened to him, and finally understood why Zhe-ge had no friends.

___

The sorcerers who were beaten half to death by Ji Huaizhe in the cafeteria were all influential figures in the college.

They are handsome, powerful and have many followers around them. Coupled with their long family history, a small clique was formed at the Sorcerer Academy.

These second-generations don’t have to do anything. They will pursue whoever they felt to be good looking, sleep with them, share them with their friends then toss them away.

Some spells and curses will backfire on the sorcerers, and the more powerful the sorcerer is, the more deranged they usually become.

The witch-hunt operation is coming to an end, and the sorcerers who are able to survive this catastrophe are the fittest. The Sorcerer Academy founded by these survivors seems calm and peaceful, but in fact it is home to more than a thousand lunatics.

The sorcerers of this world are not clergy nor can they be considered normal. They do not respect the idea of chastity.

So when they usually play with someone, the people they play with aren’t fazed by their indifference.

But Ji Huaizhe had traveled through space, and the way he thinks is different from that of these sorcerers.

As soon as he entered the academy, those sorcerers took a fancy to him and started to pursue him frantically. Ji Huaizhe did not agree to their request, so they proposed that they can be friends even if they are not lovers.

After all, being the only foreigner in this strange world, Ji Huaizhe really needed company.

He knew that during gatherings, these people started to have designs on him and did something to him.

But this is the first friendship he has made in this strange world.

They took him around the campus and familiarized him with the academy, helped him to make his own wand, skipped classes and took him to the beastmen tribe to tease the little foxes.

Ji Huaizhe was really happy spending time with them.

So when they apologized to him and promised not to do it again, he chose to forgive them.

One day those ‘friends’ invited him to a party again, and this time Ji Huaizhe was very wary.

He brought his own drinks and snacks and did not touch the plates at all or play games, just sat on the sidelines and watched them quietly.

After all the dirty tricks were foiled, and a few people simply gave up on their pretense and casually sprayed some potion on Ji Huaizhe.

The potion used was not a mild potion like the love potions, but a banned potion bought at a high price. A little drop will make people become hot and passionate, like little animals in spring.

He usually appears aloof and cold, and those people were afraid that the effect would not be good, so they poured the whole bottle on him.

If Ji Huaizhe hadn’t carried a teleportation scroll in his robes and teleported himself deep into the jungle before being pushed down, he would have been gone that night.

When the college teacher found him the next day, his body was covered with scratches and bite wounds. Covered in blood, he couldn’t help but tremble as he leaned against a tree.

Before the effects of the potion wore off, he was like a wounded beast, attacking anyone who came near.

It wasn’t until the old witch brought him back to the academy and held him in her arms that he gradually calmed down.

The old witch took him back to her dormitory, helped him treat his wounds, and removed the remaining potion from his body.

After a thorough investigation, the old witch locked up several sorcerers for more than a month and ordered them to take out their treasures in their vaults and give them to Ji Huaizhe as compensation.

Under the care of the old witch, Ji Huaizhe recovered quickly, but the scar was already etched into his heart.

From then on he became more withdrawn and stopped participating in any activities. No matter what day it is, he will always wear a skull mask when he goes out and actively keep his distance from everyone.

Chu Shici sighed a little.

Zhe-ge looks fierce and cold, but is actually shy and innocent. He is not a difficult target at all.

All it takes is to comfort him when he feels down, take him out for dinner, admire the scenery, give him the respect and companionship he wants. If this persists for one to two years, his defenses will be broken down.

At that point, hand holding and kisses are acceptable as long as he doesn’t explicitly refuse, it means that he is willing to accept this relationship.

He is obviously easy to pursue, but is regarded as an unattainable flower on the high mountains.

These people have never had the patience to truly understand Ji Huaizhe, nor have they given him any care. They want to get someone with just a few love letters and a few boxes of snacks.

Zhe-ge didn’t agree to their advances, so they labeled him arrogant.

To conclude, everything they do is just to impress others and show off their wealth and charm.

After learning what happened to Zhe-ge, Chu Shici felt a little sad.

He shrank his head into Ji Huaizhe’s pocket. Ji Huaizhe was not a talkative person, so the two of them returned to the dormitory in silence.

Pushing open the wooden door, Ji Huaizhe saw the priest doll on the table waving to him.

He had already chosen the little doll to be his servant and was about to eat the priest’s soul. However, when he saw this, he walked over.

Chu Shici stuck his head out and met the priest’s eyes.

He was about to say that he had won, but he caught the flash of killing intent in the priest’s eyes.

Chu Shici was startled and looked around cautiously.

The dormitory was quiet and nothing unusual could be seen, but he had a strong sense of crisis.

He warned aloud: “Zhe-ge, be careful.”

Ji Huaizhe paused, picked up his wand and knocked on the ground.

The red light spread from the bottom of the wand as before, covering the whole room but the light did not retract back into the wand.

The next second, formations appeared one after another on the originally clean floor. Vine after vine emerged from the floor and instantly wrapped around Ji Huaizhe’s limbs, hanging him in the air.

Chu Shici was rolled out of the sorcerer’ robes by the vines and brought to the priest’s doll.

Vicent raised his head and stretched out his arm to him: “Stop playing tricks, now is the time for you and me to duel.”

Chu Shici looked at Zhe-ge.

Ji Huaizhe’s face was horribly gloomy, the muscles on his body were constantly tightening, and the vines creaked.

Chu Shici had a plan in mind.

Zhe-ge is on his side. This is not a one-on-one duel, but a two-on-one duel.
