75. Are family members allowed in?

Jin Linkun actually made a lot of preparations.

For example, being slapped on the face by their children, or thrown out of the movie theatre directly.

But after the popcorn was finished, Yu Sheng didn’t move.

The palm was clean and slender, and the fingers were raised unnaturally, before covering his palm.

Then suddenly he leaned over.

The attendance rate of the shows on weekdays is not high, they bought the last row specially, and the nearby seats except the corners are all empty, no one pays attention to them.

Yu Sheng’s breath came over suddenly.

Jin Linkun’s heart was beating lightly, and he only had time to raise his hand to hug him just when the movie reached the bedroom scene.

The young man’s shoulders were slightly tense, his palm was a little cooler than usual, and there was a slight tremor, tightly holding his hand.

Yu Sheng would be extremely nervous every time this happened, and his requirements were very strict. The person being kissed was even more nervous than him.

___

Jin Linkun felt that he could perfectly meet this requirement.

Every time his kid took the initiative to kiss him, he felt his heart beat so fast that it was about to fly.

The armrest in the middle couldn’t be retracted, Jin Linkun moved his arm carefully, and propped up the somewhat uncomfortable armrest for him.

Yu Sheng’s chest and shoulders were strong, and his heart beat could be clearly felt through his chest on Jin Linkun’s arms.

The atmosphere of the movie is getting faster and hotter, and the changes of light and shadow are becoming more and more intense. Yu Sheng pressed against his lips and called him softly: “Kunshen.”

The young man’s tone was serious, and his usually clear voice was suppressed, leaving only a soft breath.

Jin Linkun unconsciously held his breath.

Yu Sheng tugged at the corner of his mouth, didn’t continue talking, and pulled his sleeve getting closer to him.

The movie theatre was pitch black, and the projector was humming not far behind.

The light fell on the screen far away, reflecting the flying dust, casting a gentle path of light.

The boy’s eyes were bright, lit up against the backlights, as if filled with a brilliant galaxy.

___

“This is a great development!”

Liang Yifan felt that the story was all right up to here, and was a little puzzled: “So why did the two of them watch that movie three times again?!”

“I couldn’t hold on during the third time, so I don’t know what happened afterwards.”

Cen Rui, who had just finished a round of preliminary exams recently, came here to escort the whole journey, and was sitting in the corner of the movie theatre to deal with unexpected situations, holding his chin and thinking carefully: “The second time is probably because when the two of them kissed, Sheng-ge missed the scene.”

Yu Sheng was very strict when watching movies. Either he didn’t watch the whole movie at all, and it made no impression in his mind after watching it, or he had to watch the whole movie without missing a single scene.

Because the themes of the movies chosen by the two of them in the past were not so suitable to fit the second scenario, Jin Linkun did not expect such a situation to occur.

___

But when his kid is watching the movie seriously, the bright side of his face outlined by the light and shadow is really beautiful.

He’s so beautiful that people can’t help but want to lean closer and kiss him.

Yu Sheng endured him for three rounds, and finally in the fourth round he neatly stuffed him on the massage chair in the waiting area outside the cinema, and bought a ticket to enter the cinema by himself.

Liang Yifan sighed: “It’s utterly tragic.”

Cen Rui: “Those who hear it feel sad and those who see it will cry.”

Xia Junhua took notes: “So this story is telling us that if we want to fall in love, we should not disturb them throughout the whole movie, we need to watch it together without missing any scene?”

“…”

The group video of the summer camp was quiet for a brief moment, Liang Yifan patted him on the shoulder through the screen, and nodded kindly: “Yes.”

After watching movies until midnight, Yu Sheng made an exception the next day and lay down to catch up on sleep for two classes.

Since he did not lose marks in his paper due to lack of foundational knowledge, and the teachers of all subjects acquiesce in what he should do. The always loud history teacher didn’t pay attention to his volume, but lowered his voice after the class representative raised his hand, saying that the flu is prevalent recently. In order to protect the voices of the teachers of various subjects, everyone is willing to be quieter when listening to the class.

In the love of the entire class 7, Yu Sheng slept through two classes smoothly.

Then when he got up to replenish milk biscuits during the break of the second period, he received the list of broadcasting exercises and everyone’s roles presented by the sports committee who were holding their breaths.

___

“Look at it for me.” The sports committee held his breath and gestured to others, “Inform me immediately if there is any danger to my life.”

After all, Yu Sheng’s seat is next to the window. Although everyone usually has a good relationship with one another, the sports committee is still worried that his Sheng-ge will suddenly transform in a fit of rage and throw him out of the window with one hand like a schoolbag.

Class 7’s complex emotions of admiration and awe for Sheng aroused the curiosity of many outsiders. The sports committee of the next class saw that the sports committee of Class 7 had started praying since morning exercise, and couldn’t help asking him: “Don’t you all like your class’s big boss? Why are you still so afraid of him?”

“It’s different.” The Sports Committee of Class Seven was very serious, “Do you love your father?”

The sports committee of the class next door was at a loss: “Of course, does it matter?”

The class 7’s sports committee patted him on the head: “Do you dare to let him wear a grass skirt on stage and twist his butt?”

The vivid metaphor immediately made a group of sports students sigh with empathy, and they all stayed away from class 7 of sports committee members who seemed to have died young.

The class monitor gritted his teeth and asked for three days off, and the heavy burden fell on the sports committee. Stretching one’s head and shrinking one’s head is also a no-go. After making a comprehensive account and arranging in detail the distribution of English workbooks and other property behind him, the sports committee finally plucked up his courage and handed over the registration form.

In the end, it was not known if Sheng-ge was still asleep or he didn’t see the list clearly, but he took the list and glanced at it, and said flatly, “Okay.”

The sports committee was shocked instantly: “…”

Although you don’t need to dance in hula skirts or twist your buttocks in mass exercises, No. 3 high school is a school with a long history and a very weak sense of innovation. It cherishes traditions and does not keep pace with the times.

Up to now, the school bell is still harsh, the old-fashioned small hammer smashing the iron sheet, and the quiet school bell after school is still the “Going Home” played on a saxophone*.

*(萨克斯世界名曲《回家》,醉人的旋律浓浓的亲情,心都听化了!)

___

In other words, their mass exercises so far are still the well-known “The Generation is Calling” that has been with them for generations.*

*(时代在召唤(第二套全国中学生广播体操))

As soon as you come up, you have to do actions like “the sea ah, it’s full of water”, including mysterious punches and kicks, air breaststroke and zombie jumps. You can’t understand the mentality of  the person who composed “The Generation is Calling” at all.

Although the original intention was to persuade Yu Sheng to agree to lead the exercise, the other party agreed too quickly, which made the sports committee a little overwhelmed: “Sheng-ge, have you seen it? The top row…”

“I see it.” Yu Sheng nodded, “I’ll take the lead.”

Sports Committee: “…”

“What should I do?” The boy next to him looked at Sheng-ge who was wearing a jacket that was obviously one size bigger, drinking milk and eating small biscuits, and put his arm on Duan Lei’s shoulders a little worriedly, “I think our Sheng-ge seems to be a little bit different than before.”

Duan Lei took off his glasses, took out a tissue and wiped them hastily, then put them back on: “Look carefully.”

The boy became even more worried: “It’s over, our Sheng-ge seems to be very different from before.”

In the end, it was Lao He who resolved the confusion for the students.

The third class was the Chinese class. Lao He came five minutes early and found that the students were all gathered by the window, and he also moved over curiously with his computers.

Then he listened to the group of students for a while: “Student Yu Sheng, can you do the exercises?”

In the brief silence of the whole class seven, Yu Sheng put down the milk carton and shook his head.

When he first came to No. 3 high school, no one dared to do exercises with him, so he was given a pass for those who did not need to do exercises from the weekly student quota. The main job was to use the exercise time between classes to check on the hygiene of each classes.

Later, the classes were reorganised, and the quota was not taken back, it has been hanging in the education department.

Yu Sheng was too lazy to study carefully, and basically filled in the scores of 9.8 and 9.9 every week. During the exercise, he either caught up on sleep in the classroom or climbed over the wall to get some air.

For the past two years, he has never looked carefully at what the genuine version of the daily exercise performed should look like.

Lao He had anticipated this situation, and turned on his computer without haste.

___

After watching the “Second Set of Radio Gymnastics for high school Students: The Generation Calls (Mirror Demonstration Edition)” that Lao He played for everyone during class, the whole class was silent for a long time, watching them in fear as Sheng-ge held his forehead and made a sudden move with his bare hands. He broke the 2b pencil used to sign on the registration form.

“It’s a good quality to shoulder your responsibility.”

Lao He added on with a smile: “Student Yu Sheng has a strong sense of collective honour, and he stands up when the class needs it, which just fits the teachings of the book: “Chu Shi Biao*”, “To be appointed to an important task during a defeat and to be entrusted with a mission at a critical and difficult moment,” – here is the key point , remember, students, this article is a must-have for our exams…”

*(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chu_Shi_BiaoChu Shi Biao refers to either of two memorials written by Zhuge Liang, the Imperial Chancellor of the state of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period of China. )

Watching helplessly as the form teacher skillfully demonstrated what it means to go up to the roof of the house and kick away the ladder, the students in class seven quickly lowered their heads, flipped through their notebooks, and buried their heads in memorization.

“To be honest.” Yao Qiang couldn’t help it, and lowered his voice to talk to Duan Lei, “Although I do this exercise every day, I didn’t expect to look so crazy…”

Duan Lei stared ahead and sat in an unusually calm manner: “Don’t talk in class.”

The two have always been good partners who secretly pass snacks in class, Yao Qiang was a little stunned: “When did you become so obedient?”

Life is at stake, Duan Lei looked cold and calm, and sat still: “Look to my left, and count how many pieces that pencil has broken into.”

Yao Qiang: “…”

Only then did he realise what he was getting into, Yu Sheng sat by the window, the low pressure on his head hovered until the volunteer English tutor came to give the paper.

Jin Linkun roughly understood the situation, put down the lesson plan, and sat among the students: “Must you guys do this set of exercises?”

“Not really, but no one knows anything else.”

The sports committee rubbed the back of his head: “We’ve been doing this all the time… which one is the provincial school’s? Can we learn it?”

Jin Linkun smiled apologetically: “We run track.”

The topic once again reached an impasse.

There will be a sports meeting tomorrow, and no one is in the mood for tonight’s evening self-study. The teachers had already returned to the office tacitly. Fortunately, the next few classes were not selected to perform radio exercises. They were playing movies and chatting loudly, creating an atmosphere for the next five-day sports meeting.

Sitting among his classmates, Jin Linkun finished watching the exercise demonstration video left by Yu Sheng and his form teacher.

“Is it not funny?” Yao Qiang looked blankly at the teacher who was still calm, “Could it be that we have imagined the nature of this exercise too seriously?”

The Sports Committee raised a glimmer of hope: “Maybe this is the hurdle. When we become mature adults, we won’t think this exercise is too nonsense.”

The school committee pushed the glasses: “Is this hurdle so closely related to age? Then, should we hurry up and grow up for a while, maybe we can accept this more calmly…”

Before these few people could discuss the results, Yu Sheng, who had been hovering in low pressure all afternoon, suddenly got up, and lifted the calm, mature and adult teacher out of the classroom with one hand.

Yao Qiang rubbed his nose: “I just felt a burst of murderous intent scratching the tip of my nose.”

“Strong and fierce wind.” The representative of the history class put away his schoolbag.

A muffled sound of scuffling came from the corridor, Duan Lei set up an awning, leaned on the edge of the table and looked out: “Think on the bright side, our Sheng-ge’s will hasn’t been softened by milk and biscuits…”

In the stairwell, Jin Linkun hugged his boyfriend who hadn’t been softened by milk and biscuits, and stroked his back with his hands: “It’s not funny, it’s not funny, it’s actually quite handsome.”

Yu Sheng: “Then hold back your smile for three seconds.”

“…” Jin Linkun: “Pfft.”

Yu Sheng simply pushed him again.

“Friend, friend.” Jin Linkun clenched one wrist with one hand, and pressed him against the wall. “There is still another option. We can find a more normal set of exercises to do…”

After all, their range of good friends in the summer camp covers the entire province, and he doesn’t believe that he can’t find another set of exercises that are a little more normal.

Every time this person fights back, he is not serious, either relying on his height advantage to back him against the wall, or relying on his strength to hold him tightly, but they are close to each other. With his deep voice, it drills into people’s ears involuntarily.

It’s not that Yu Sheng can’t push him away, but he also doesn’t want to show his weakness: “What does it have to do with you?”

He was very stubborn, and no one could tell at all that he had previously asked him if he wanted to come to the sports meeting before.

Jin Linkun held his wrist, raised his eyebrows slightly, and rubbed his temples with his head down: “You don’t want to let the substitute teacher see?”

Yu Sheng  pressed his lips together: “For internal circulation only. Non-staff personnel are not allowed to enter.”

The mass exercise has been a traditional event over the years, and the teachers have never let go of this opportunity. Every time, the rostrum and the auditorium are packed to the brim, and some even hold up cameras and video recorders to show no mercy.

Otherwise, Lao He wouldn’t have watched the excitement like this and fooled him into a leader.

Simply inhuman.

Now he gets a headache when he thinks about the movements of that exercise, but he still remembers it very clearly. With a little use of his brain, he can make up the picture of himself leading the exercise.

Yu Sheng took a deep breath, and seriously thought about whether to wear a mask or sunglasses, or both.

Jin Linkun lowered his gaze and smiled slightly.

The boy’s tone was unusually cold, his ears were red, and the corners of his mouth were stretched into a straight line.

But even if he was so annoyed, he couldn’t refuse to dance that stupid inter-class exercise with the group of people.

It makes people feel so soft even just looking at it.

Jin Linkun looked at him, raised the corners of his lips, and pressed them against Yu Sheng’s forehead: “What about family?”

Yu Sheng was a little unfamiliar with this word, frowned, and raised his head to meet his gaze.

“What about family?”

Jin Linkun pressed him closer against the wall and whispered close to the child’s burning ears. His eyes behind the glasses were bent, and he asked earnestly, “Are family members allowed to come in?”
